Magpie Find: Vault by Vans x Disney OG Classics

Vans have gone back to their archives and raided their dusty fabric cupboards to

make these limited edition classics which arrive this month for both children and

adults alike at select Vault retailers. These prints were designed by Disney in the

80's to pay homage to these characters' legacy of timeless fun and discovery.

There's nothing like throwing on loads of black clothes. Sometimes it might be in a depressed 'I'm not here' / 'leave me the fuck alone' way but the time has definitely come for it to be acceptable to self indulge in some serious black on black. The best way to do it is to mix up the textures and make sure you get a bit of detail in there for artistic merit and fashion brownie points.

It is still the summer and bright, light and airy florals / hawaiian shirts most definitely have their time and place but 'down-day' or not these blacks are your friend.

Magpie Find: Comet Handmade Jewellery

Comet is a jewellery brand formed in late 2012 by designer Chloe Baret. Baret makes these little colorful nuggets of planet Earth by hand so each one has a slightly different shape or finish making each one completely unique. They are really affordable too (about £30) You can check out the website where you can also buy your own little piece of chemistry. Clever gal. X

Handstand Hair

Hair inspiration in the latest issue of W magazine. Super excited to try some of these out; Dyeing and cutting hair can be a bit of a commitment so using rags and paint or temporary hair dyes make it more like putting on make-up or an outfit. I have had a bit of a wig obsession too for the same reasons but this is a lot more fun and wont fall off if you need to do any of your favourite summer activities (kartwheels, trampolining, headstands, hand stands etc).
